A cache of Kafka's unpublished notebooks has appeared on the private market — sold by an unnamed estate in Tel Aviv, where Brod died in 1968. Three pages describe specific addresses in Prague, specific names, and a hidden archive that Kafka called "the proof that the system is not a metaphor."
